The refugee camp in Kampala, Uganda

I landed in the UK last night, spent the night with a fellow speaker at the Youth Revival who came back a week
ago. More about that when I get home.
I have fallen in Love with the people of Uganda. Made many good friends in many churches.
The Lord proviced a wealthy family for me to stay with the three weeks there. I have never been so well caired for before. Got to go, someone is calling.

I have been at the internert cafe for going on to an hour, this is the third time I am doing this blog. I get ready to save and publish and the net goes down and I have to start over. The high speed internet here is as fast as dial up at home.
The picture above is from the area I was able to speak into the lives of a wonderful group of folks, many of the above children were in church, or what we would call maybe a large shed. The people were pleased that they had a place to worship their savior and stay dry when it rains. Oh that we would have the faith of many of these. We complain when it gets a little to hot or cold, they are happy that they have a roof over their heads to keep them dry. We could learn so much from them about true faith.
We had planned to baptize Fred yesterday in lake Victoria, but it rained most of the day, and nothing moved until the rain stopped. Lord willing today is the day.
Time to go for now, May the Lord bless everyone that looks at this blog with peace and love.

When the Lord provides, He provides all the way
Sorry no picture today, maybe tomarow

Sunday I had the honnor of speaking in two churches. Both were way back in the slums, although I could see the Kings pallace frome one of them. (about 4 or 5 blocks away)
The first was a small church with a big dream. They not only had a church, they worked with street kida, had a program for the elderly, and were putting some chrildren through school. (the children were street kids) Afterchurch they fed me like a king, and gave me a love offering that I asked them to put toward their childrens program. About the time we finished Pastor Adams came to wisk me to the next church. It was raining hard, and the roads were not paved. Larry, the roads were worse then the road up the mountin. I think that all the pot holes in  Uganda were on that streach of about ten miles. Mud, you never saw so much. God is good and he provided everything we needed to get there. This church was about one hald the size of out gym. As we started there was maybe twenty worshipers there, and by the time we finished maybe fifty of sixty.
After the service I was asked to pray for the sick, and God healed. Talk about a humbleing experance, God is so great and worderful. Pastor Adams two year old was listless and had a fever, be the time we got home he was singing and running around like children should. Praise be to God. Again a love gift was given and I asked the pastor to give it to a neady family.
Right now it is about 1:20 in the morning there at home (9:20 in the morning here in Uganda)

Just a short note becausl the net is very slow today. Last night we had a revval in a slum part of Kampalla. There had to be around 200 people there. They had singers, dancers, and several speakers. I felt the Lord wanted me to first give a wittiness, and then tell the story of Jesus. When I finisted I gave an alter call and had between 25-30 come forwared. What a blessing. I think the Lord is blessing me  then them. I'm going to save this and then try to put a picture with it.
Blessings

Whippi we got internet 9/5/07
Just to be sure I get a message to ya'll I will put the text first.
Thank you so much for your prayers, I can tell when you are praying, I feel your love.
The Generational youth revival was wounderful. We had everyone that was to be there there.
There were speakers from the UK, Austraila, Ruwanda, Kenya, Uganda, and two of us from the US.
I feel the Lord Has started somthing new in me. My Lord has worked miracles with the youth. There were many singers, and dancers there to keep the youth jumping.
I have many stories to tell when I get home on the 19th or 20th. One I will tell now.
I spoke at a refugee camp last night, and the Lord told me to tell His story without using the bible. I did and it just rolled out of my mouth, Jesus' spirit was there and moved throughout the camp. A muslum man profest Christ then two women did the same. I did the sameI tonight at pastor Adams childrens home and Pastor Adams mother asked Jesus into her life. I have so much to tell you, but the best thing is that Jesus is in full control of what I am doing and does that feel good.

Ups, I could not publish last night so I am trying this afternoon. Today I do not have a speaking engagement, so we went out to purchase supplies for a young man, Mucomba Fread, a very sharp and smart young man of 14 years. He want's to be a doctor. He lost his dad in the war (congo) before he was born. When he was 6 his mother hid him and his sister in a hole under the bed, when the comosion was over they came up to find there mother decaptated and cut open. Shortly later the same happened to his older sister. Then he ran out looking for help and everyone told him to go back to where he came from. From then till now he woundered around this part of Africa. Fred walked on to the revival and after talking to several Ugandans came to me and told his story. The Lord seemed to meld our hearts together. After getting advice from several pastors and friends, I felt the Lord telling me to help him. Up until today he has been living in a refugee camp, the one I spoke in tow days ago. as of today Fred will be living at a boarding school. PTL now he will have a chance to blossom and be the man the Lord wants him to be.
I have so much fallen in love with Uganda and it's people.
Please keep praying for me as satin is attacking from all sides. So far I have a broken little toe, (no big deal) a knot on my head. (a little bigger deal) and now the start of a little disintary, a big deal if I can't find a place to make a deposit.  So Please Keep Me Lifted in Prayer that I Am Able to serve my Savior to the best of ability.
Now that I have found an internett cafe that works, maybe I can send more blogs.
The Lord bless you.
